Growing up in a culturally vibrant environment, Chef Ish’s heritage and upbringing in East London deeply influenced his culinary creativity and passion for food.
The Journey of Chef Ish
At age 22, Ish embraced a pescatarian lifestyle, sparking his journey into seafood experimentation. Using his signature techniques, he began refining recipes that resonated with his personal taste and style. Encouraged by the positive reactions of family and friends, he launched his own catering business in 2019 from his home in Leyton, East London. Initially, Ish used social media platforms like Snapchat and Instagram to connect with his community and sell made-to-order seafood meals.
